Operation Christmas Child is a project run by the Christian charity Samaritan’s Purse.
We at WoFC have been supporting the Operation Christmas Child Campaign since about 1997. The Operation Christmas Child campaign is supported because it is seen as a fun way to teach younger children how to give, in a scriptural way as stated in Luke 6:38 “give, and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
It is also a way of being a blessing to children from less privileged backgrounds across the world, allowing the love of God to be taken to them, demonstrating to them the real meaning of Christmas.
